FAQ #01

Frequently Asked Questions

How many sessions will I need...?

I suggest my clients think in terms of an initial six sessions but this is flexible and can be less. Together we will monitor on a regular basis what has been achieved. No pressure will be put on the client to continue longer than they feel necessary. I will always respect my clients decisions. Counselling and coaching is a partnership between the counsellor/coach and the client. Our aim is flexibility and agreement.
The first session is free of charge to discover whether the cousellor/coach and the client can establish a working relationship.

What is the cost...?

  • All sessions are 50 minutes duration
  • The first session is free (face to face and telephone)
  • Daytime sessions are charged at £30 per session
  • A surcharge of £5 per session is added for evening appointments after 6pm
  • Telephone consultations are charged at £12 per 30 minutes session (payable by cheque in advance of appointment)

What happens if I can't keep an appointment...?

No problem and no charge, providing you give prior warning. However, I do reserve the right to charge for a missed appointment where no prior warning has been given.

What can I expect from my Counsellor or Coach...?

    You can expect...
  • to be listened to
  • to not be judged
  • to be encouraged
  • to be challenged
  • to be treated with respect.
